Alex Montgomery-Fleming RAD PDTD

Alex is RAD qualified with high distinction marks. He trained at Royal Ballet and Elmhurst and has taught for the Birmingham Royal Ballet and British Ballet Organisation. Currently Alex is a Ballet Lecturer at BIMM University and the Artistic Director and Teacher for the Birmingham Ballet Association.

Join our professionally led 6-week ballet courses for beginners, improvers and experienced dancers. Our structured syllabus supports every level, whether you’re brand new to ballet or returning after time away. With clear progression pathways, you can build technique, grow in confidence and reach an advanced level of understanding in just 18 weeks. Enjoy repertoire workshops and earn achievement awards as you go.

The Pavlova group are now on week 8/12 and are working towards progressing into the intermediate (Fonteyn) group. At week 12 they receive a special award to celebrate their achievement and commitment to ballet. I can’t wait to celebrate their accomplishments!
What you don’t see from the outside is just how much of a supportive and fun group we are with our funny BBA WhatsApp group keeping us connected through laughter and celebrating each and every milestone!!

This week our beautiful dancers completed Week 5 of their 6-week Ballet course — and what a journey it’s been! 🩰 Each week we’ve celebrated new achievements, improved balance, coordination, and posture, and left the studio with big smiles and graceful hearts. 💕
It’s been amazing to see everyone’s confidence grow — and we’re delighted that most of our dancers have chosen to continue their ballet journey in our next six-week course starting in just a fortnight! 🙌
